Your Local Neighbourhood Policing Team

Good Afternoon to our Anchorsholme residents,

As you may be aware the Government are investing £200 million into Neighbourhood Policing with the Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee.  This will provide the delivery of 13,000 additional police officers, PCSO's and special constables into neighbourhood policing roles.  For Lancashire this will mean an extra 53xPCs, 30xPCSOs and 20xspecial constables.

The aim is it to have more officers on the beat in local neighbourhoods, reduce ASB, targeted activity on shop theft and street theft, training for officers, intelligence gathering, public collaboration, safer streets, police visibility and community engagement.
